StockšŸ“‰Market LiesšŸ¤„: STOP IT! #PenniesToProfits in Reverse šŸ˜‚

Iā€™m Sooooo tired of folks lying šŸ¤„ & spreading #MISINFORMATION. I just saw an Interview from girl with a Notable Financial Media Source saying she had ā€œMysteriousā€ Mentor who she Never NamedšŸ™„ btw) tell her to put $5k in Tesla in 2022 & 2 Yrs Later it ā€œMAGICALLY turned into $2MM. She THEN adds that she added an additional $5k once more after the initial investment turned into $17k.ā€ There is NO WAY Logically possible that happened with Tesla dipping to $103 at its lowest point from 2023. The highest Stock Price Tesla Hit in 2023 was $256, which means that Your initial $5,000 investment in Tesla from April 24, 2022, at $290.25 per share would be worth approximately $4,568.43 today, given the current price of $265.28 per share, which is in FACT A DEFICIT!

Boo, the MATH AINT MATHIN šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø #ijs

Ok yā€™all asking well what about the extra money she put in after the $5k increased to $17k. My questions here are, exactly when did the $5k turn into $17k over the 2 Year period? And, then, at what point did she add the additional $5k, which makes her overall investment $22k (including market gains)? So, for simplicityā€™s sake, letā€™s say she has the $22k invested in Tesla 6 months in, which would put her around October 2022. Remember, her initial investment of $5k bought her 17 Shares. The Profits only buy you more shares in you invest it. She never said she invested her gains. She only said she added an additional $5k. So letā€™s check the share price on 10/23/22ā€¦.its $228.52 (take that price & divide it into $5k). Its basic division 5000/228.52=21.87 Shares. Her total Shares are now 38 Shares. Her average share price cost based on when she bought overall throughout 2022 is $259.38.

Are yall still with me?

To determine the current value of the Tesla shares, we'll use the following steps:

1. Determine the total number of shares purchased: 38

2. Find the current price of Tesla (TSLA) stock. $219.80

3. Calculate the current value of the investment:

Number of shares = 38 x Current price per share = $219.80 = $8352.40

Your 38 Tesla shares, originally purchased at $259.38 per share, would be worth approximately $8,352.40 today with the current price being $219.80 per share, which is less than her overall investment, which means Olā€™ Girl would in fact have loss a little money at this point. Remember, Iā€™m not counting the gains b/c she never stated what she did with the money (i.e. Reinvested it or took profits).

Now, you ainā€™t gotta be a genius but you gotta have common sense when it comes to listening these #Fake Social Media Influencerā€™s who ainā€™t neeeevvvaaa worked in a Financial Institution šŸ¦ a day in their life or if they did, Hunnie, they couldnā€™t cut the mustard & only last a Year or 2 šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚.

The moral of this story is Y'all Check your facts before you start listening to folks, some of these folks that are online claiming to be Financial Experts are Convicted Felons, Day Care Workers, School Teachers, Fitness Trainers, Makeup Artist, Mechanics, etcā€¦Now, I am not saying there is anything wrong with any of these professions (if itā€™s a profession previous listed). They are all decent lines of work. My point is to stay in your lane šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø. And, find a coach that knows what they are doing & holds themselves to some type of standard. With all that being said, NONE of this is #FinancialAdvice.
